예전에 스위스인 친구가 뜬금없이 나에게 물었다.

그넘: "야! 너네 나라는 arm과 leg를 같은 단어로 쓴다며?"
나: "뭐?" @@
그넘: "둘다 'Pal' 이라고 부른다며?"
나: "응?... 아니 그게 아니고 하난 발(bal)이고 또 하난 팔(pal)이지~ 넌 B 발음하고 P발음도 구별 못하냐?"
그넘: "그래?" --a (매우 떫떠름한 표정)

그런데 이제 보니 스위스 사람들이야 말로 팔과 다리를 구분 못하는 것 같다. 조금 전에도 우크라이나 프리킥 상황에 손에 맞았는데 반칙 안준다. 서형욱 해설위원도 "이번 경기에서 스위스 선수는 다리가 네개 인거나 마찬가지예요!" 라고 한다.

네발달린 건....짐승인데.

덧: 그나저나, 호주는 억울해서 어떻게 하나. 우리 상황보다 더 하던데...
